PalmSource Launches Palm OS Business Solutions Program For Enterprise Developers
PALMSOURCE DEVELOPER SEMINAR, SAN MATEO, Calif. -- May 6, 2003 -- PalmSource, Inc., provider of the world's most popular operating system for handhelds and smartphones and the Palm OS® subsidiary of Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM), today launched the Palm OS® Business Solutions Program. Palm OS Business Solutions will provide a comprehensive and cost-effective way for developers to strengthen their position in the enterprise market by aligning with the Palm OS platform, a trusted name in enterprise mobility.
Highlighting PalmSource's commitment to its 260,000-strong developer community, Palm OS Business Solutions will enable enterprise developers to submit their applications for a series of tests that, once passed, will validate the application as "enterprise-ready."
