Company Extends Multi-Platform, End-to-End Automated Testing Capability to Palm OS Device Manufacturers and Application Developers
MINNEAPOLIS and MUNICH, Germany, PalmSource™ Euro DevCon, September 28, 2004 — TestQuest Inc., the leader in functional test automation solutions for the mobile and wireless industry, today released a new solution that enables companies to automate the testing of Palm OS® Garnet devices using TestQuest Pro™, the de facto mobile and wireless industry standard for functional test automation tools. The solution also supports Palm OS 4 devices. Five of the world's six largest handset manufacturers and three of its top wireless operators currently use TestQuest Test Automation Solutions to speed high-quality mobile devices and applications to market. The Test Automation Solution for Palm OS extends the benefits of automated testing to manufacturers developing mobile devices powered by PalmSource's Palm OS or independent software vendors and IT groups developing mobile applications for these devices. TestQuest Pro can connect to multiple, different devices enabling automated end-to-end testing. The test execution software runs on the TestQuest Pro platform, consuming little of the device's resources, and protecting the integrity of the tests.
