PalmSource Announces Worldwide Mobile Summit and DevCon for May 23–26, 2005
Event to highlight new opportunities for PalmSource Licensees, Operators, Industry Partners and Developers
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – February 3, 2005 — PalmSource, Inc., (NASDAQ: PSRC) provider of Palm OS®, a leading operating system powering next generation mobile devices and smartphones, today announced it will hold its annual Developers Conference May 23 –26, 2005 in San Jose, California. This year the Company has added a Mobile Summit. The Mobile Summit has been designed to identify and explore new worldwide business opportunities for developers, licensees, operators and industry partners, showcase state–of–the–art wireless applications for smartphones, and provide valuable training and instruction on developing for the Palm OS platform. PalmSource will also highlight its product roadmap for feature phones and Linux, leveraging its recent acquisition of China MobileSoft (CMS), a leading Chinese mobile phone software company. Additionally, PalmSource will showcase the latest information on Palm OS® Cobalt and provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about and experience the most recent mobile device developments from world class Palm OS licensees. Highlights of the PalmSource Mobile Summit and DevCon 2005 include:

- Meet PalmSource Partners Session: a roundtable session dedicated to industry networking. A chance to get up close and personal with industry leaders to discuss hot topics in an intimate setting.
